On February 10th, 2022 As Ambulance 46-1 was responding to a medical emergency in Salisbury Township they happened to come across a 2 vehicle auto accident along Route 41 in Salisbury Township. Ambulance 46-1 contacted the Lancaster County Wide Communications Center and advised them to send a cover ambulance to the medical call as they would be committed to the accident scene. The Gap Fire Company was than dispatched to the scene as a saddle tank on the Tractor Trailer was ruptured and leaking diesel fuel. 42 units arrived and controlled the hazards on both vehicles and requested Nulls Towing to the scene for the environmental clean up.
