2 Vehicle Accident Reported Serious On Lincoln Highway In Salisbury Township |

On March 4th, 2022 The Gap Fire Company along with Christiana EMS and LEMSA Medic's were dispatched to the area of Lincoln Highway and Newport Road in Salisbury Township for an auto accident reported serious. Ambulance 46-1 responded 2 minutes after dispatch and was advised of a 2 vehicle accident with one vehicle reported to be on it's side with unknown entrapment. Rescue 42 was the first arriving unit to confirm the report and no entrapment. Ambulance 46-1 arrived and started to triage the scene for potential patients. Ambulance 46 and Medic 56 transported 1 subject to an area hospital for their injuries sustained from the accident. The fire department remained on the scene to await the local tow company and to allow the Pennsylvania State Police to conduct an investigation of the accident scene. |
