On March 20th, 2022 The Christiana Fire Company along with Christiana EMS and neighboring fire agencies were dispatched to the 100 block of Bridge Street in Christiana Borough for a building fire with possible entrapment.

Ambulance 46-1 and Assistant 52 (Vandenbosch) went enroute and were advised that smoke was coming from an apartment window and children were possibly still inside. Assistant 52 (Vandenbosch) arrived to find a 3 story apartment building with nothing showing. Ambulance 46-1 arrived and stood by while the FD operated on the scene.

The situation was quickly mitigated and all units were made available
