On March 12th, 2022 The Gap Fire Company and Christiana EMS were dispatched to the area of Lincoln Highway and Simmontown Road in Salisbury Township for a reported auto accident.

Chief 42-2 (Wenger) and Ambulance 46-1 responded and were advised by the Lancaster County 911 Center of a 2 vehicle accident with unknown injuries.

Chief 42-2 arrived to confirm the report followed by Ambulance 46-1 who arrived to check the scene for potential patients. It was determined that 1 subject wanted to be evaluated for their injuries. Rescue 42 arrived and secured the hazards on the vehicles while providing traffic control.

Ambulance 46-1 cleared the scene a short time later.
